Hamed Soleimanzadeh to judge at Schlingel filmfest

Iranian film critic Hamed Soleimanzadeh has been selected as a member of jury panel at the Schlingel International Film Festival in Germany.

 Soleimanzadeh, a critic, researcher and university lecturer, is to judge at the event as an Iranian member of FIPRESCI, the International Federation of Film Critics.

He will review and judge 15 films at the main and competition sections of the festival alongside two other jury members from Turkey and Germany.

Schlingel filmfest is one of the most credible international film festivals dedicated to children and young adults.

The festival began in 1996, and has taken place annually in Chemnitz ever since. It gives an overview of the newest international productions in the area of children and youth films.

The 25th edition of the event is slated for October 10-17, 2020 in Germany.
